Where is Baroque Blooms located? Can I visit the garden?
Baroque Blooms is a fine art floral studio and organic urban garden specializing in heirloom and rare flower varieties. We grow our flowers in Ottawa, Ontario and Otter Lake, Quebec. While we love sharing our passion for flowers, our garden is not open to public visits at this time.
Do you grow the flowers used in your floral arrangements
Yes, we grow most of the flowers we use in our designs. From spring through fall, we cultivate blooms from seed, bulb, corm, and tuber using organic, no-till gardening methods. Our garden includes a growing collection of perennials, and we also source from other sustainable flower farms. As proud members of the Ottawa Flower Collective, we collaborate with local growers and occasionally forage natural elements like branches, moss, and wild blooms to enhance our arrangements.
Do you offer floral services for weddings and events?
Absolutely! Baroque Blooms is currently accepting bookings for weddings, editorial shoots, and special events for the 2026 season. We also offer wholesale blooms to florists and event designers. Yes! We love partnering with florists and floral designers who value locally grown, sustainable blooms. Do you offer floral arrangements or custom displays for local businesses?
We do! Baroque Blooms provides weekly floral arrangements and custom window displays for businesses in Ottawa and Gatineau. If you're a shop owner, café, or boutique looking to elevate your space with seasonal flowers, please get in touch.
Will you travel outside Ottawa or Gatineau for weddings?
Yes, we offer destination floral services for weddings outside the Ottawa-Gatineau area. If you're planning a wedding elsewhere in Ontario or Quebec—or beyond—let us know your venue details during our consultation. We’re happy to travel to help make your day beautiful.
What areas do you deliver to?
We currently offer flower delivery within Ottawa and Gatineau. For special events or larger installations, we’re happy to discuss delivery to surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether we can deliver to your location, just reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate.
How far in advance should I book floral services?
For weddings and large events, we recommend booking at least 6–12 months in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak seasons. For smaller orders or custom arrangements, a few weeks’ notice is ideal. That said, we’ll always try to accommodate last-minute requests when we can.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept most major credit cards through our secure online checkout, as well as e-transfers for custom orders and event deposits. If you have a specific payment question, feel free to ask—we’re happy to help.
Can I request specific flowers or colours in my arrangement?
Absolutely. While we work seasonally and with what’s blooming in our garden, we love incorporating your preferences. Let us know your favourite colours, textures, or flower varieties, and we’ll do our best to include them—always with our signature Baroque Blooms touch.
Do you offer flower subscriptions or seasonal bouquet deliveries?
We don’t offer flower subscriptions however you can find us weekly at Jacobson’s during the growing season with thoughtfully curated bouquets featuring our freshest heirloom blooms.
Can I see examples of your past work?
Yes. You can view our floral designs and garden projects on our Instagram and in our portfolio. We’re always adding new work, so check back often for inspiration.
